Tear Gas Used to Disperse Anti-Government Protesters in Paris
Police in Paris used tear gas on Saturday, September 21, to disperse anti-government demonstrators trying to revive the yellow vest movement in protest at perceived economic injustice and French President Emmanuel Macron’s government.
The French capital was placed under high security as several hundred anti-government protesters started marching through the streets. Paris police said at least 39 people were arrested.
