Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina Welcomed by China PM Li Keqiang in Beijing, China
Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was received by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in Beijing on the first day of her state visit to China. Hasina was welcomed by a ceremony featuring the Chinese honor guard at the Great Hall of the People in the Chinese capital, Thursday, July 4.
Hasina is expected to hold bilateral talks with her Chinese counterpart later today and is scheduled to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping the following day, Friday, July 5. The five-day official state visit is expected to bolster ties between Bangladesh and China. (AP)
