Key Square Group CEO Scott Bessent tells Donald Trump Jr. that 70 percent of Americans are already in a recession. "We are hitting 2.5 percent GDP numbers, but that is because the upper 10 to 20 percent of America consumes so much," Bessent says. "The top 10 to 20 percent are 50 percent of consumption, whereas the bottom 50 are getting crushed."
