U.S. Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ-02), who voted to oust Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), says it would be counterproductive to elect a new House Speaker while emotions are still high. “I don’t know what’s going to happen but I am hopeful that we get a more conservative, America-first Speaker to lead us through these tough times,” says Crane.
