When and Why Lawfare Began Against President Trump

Human Events Senior Editor Jack Posobiec says that lawfare against President Trump didn't begin until polls revealed that President Trump was beating Joe Biden not just in the battleground states but also in national polls. "This was the test case, the one that broke the ice," Posobiec told Steve Bannon. "[New York County District Attorney] Alvin Bragg came in, in March of last year, bringing forward a case that had already been passed over by the Southern District of New York, which is not exactly a big fan of Republicans, but also by Braggs' own office himself. He knew this case was a lemon back then, because it was predicated on the faulty credibility of Michael Avenatti and Michael Cohen."
