What Will Happen to People Who Defy James Comer's Subpoena?
House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY-01) says he plans to go to Speaker Mike Johnson’s office and demand contempt of Congress charges for anyone who attempts to defy a subpoena: “This is a very credible, very serious investigation of criminal wrongdoing, of public corruption. And we expect people to come to Congress and if they don’t, I think they should be held in contempt.”
