Weekly Examiner: Congress’ last efforts before recess
It was a busy week on Capitol Hill. Just before leaving for their five-week summer recess, the Senate passed a bill overhauling the Veterans’ Affairs department and a bill replenishing the Highway Trust Fund until May 2015.
