U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA-14) says the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, COVID vaccine mandate, and low recruitment numbers under Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s tenure prompted her to introduce an amendment to reduce his salary to no more than $1. “The Holman Rule is our tool as members of Congress…To defund the salary of a politician or a bureaucrat that needs to be fired,” Greene said.
