Under Speaker Mike Johnson, the D.C. Cartel is Now on Notice
U.S. Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT) tells Natalie Winters that U.S. Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA-20) spent his time as speaker of the House garnering more votes from Democrats than Republicans to get his agenda passed...and that included the House giving plenty of taxpayer money to lobbyists. But under Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA-04), things will change. "They will start seeing that whole structure that they had built over the last many decades become subject to unraveling," Rosendale said. "Now we will have someone at the helm who is not beholden to these lobbyists."
