U.S. Vice President Mike Pence Oversees Dignified Transfer of Two Soldiers Killed in Afghanistan

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence was on hand to observe the transfer of the remains of two soldiers at Dover Air Force Base, Friday, August 23.
The caskets were taken one by one from the plane to a nearby transport vehicle while Pence and other officials looked on.
One of the caskets contained the body of Master Sergeant Luis F. DeLeon-Figueroa who died as a result of small-arms fire in Afghanistan’s northern Faryab province. (AP)
