U.S. State Department Approves Potential $2.2 Billion Arms Sale to Taiwan
Amid a growing trade war with China, the U.S. Defense Department’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency announced, Monday, July 8, that the State Department had approved a request by Taiwan to purchase an estimated $2.2 billion worth of military equipment.
