Trump Says US Could End War In Afghanistan In One Week
U.S. President Donald Trump says he could win the Afghanistan war “in a week” but it would mean killing 10 million people. At a joint press conference with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan Monday, Trump said Pakistan will help the United States get out of Afghanistan after 18 years of involvement. VOA’s Zlatica Hoke reports Khan’s visit to Washington is the first meeting between U.S. and Pakistani leaders since Trump took office.
