Treason and Espionage 20 Years Ago, but Now it's Just Business
U.S. Oil and Gas Association President President Tim Stewart says the Biden family’s alleged attempt to help a Chinese energy firm buy U.S. energy assets would have been treated as treason twenty years ago. “I think there are a number of violations in international law, and frankly lobbying violations and other things that the rest of us are subjected to, but if you have the right name on the resume and the right name on the check that it’s being written to—‘Gosh dang, then we’ll let that one slide’,” says Stewart.
