Judge Aileen Cannon has postponed, indefinitely, the prosecution trying to get a trial date. President Trump legal surrogate David Gelman calls this "a slam dunk" for President Trump. "There is no way that this trial, if it ever occurs, will happen prior to the election. Literally and figuratively, it cannot happen. What she said in her order is pretty much 'Jack Smith you have a lot of explaining to do,'" Gelman said. "She has to go through all of these pre-trial motions now because what Jack Smith led or misled the court on was documented last week. He literally said these documents that we have may not be in the same order. We mishandled them. They are accusing President Trump of doing the exact thing that they actually admitted doing."
