“This fight is winnable, and it's time for the GOP to grow a backbone or get the hell out of the way. Look, Americans aren't fooled by the Democrats' smoke and mirrors on this. They support voter ID in the Save America Act in droves. We're talking 81% for requiring ID to vote, 75% demanding proof of citizenship, 80% wanting non-citizens scrubbed from the rolls. The bill itself, a whopping 71% approval, 50% from Democrats, 91% from Republicans, and about 70% of independents, are on board. That's more popular than free beer at a tailgate, folks, or your tax cut on payday.”
