Arizona GOP U.S. Senate Candidate Kari Lake goes into detail about an audio recording released Monday of former Arizona Republican Chairman Jeff DeWit offering her money to stay out of the 2024 U.S. Senate race. “I don’t know how, how you try to explain that away. In his letter he said this is just a normal conversation, a business conversation between friends,” Lake says. “I don’t know, I’ve got lots of friends and I know a lot of people in business. This is not a normal business conversation, not a normal friend conversation, and the fact that he thinks that is horrifying.”
