Late this afternoon, Rogan O’Handley received a message from someone he calls a proxy of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. That proxy offered to pay him to turn against U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL-01) in the federal budget battle. But O'Handley told Steve Bannon that he refused. "When McCarthy was getting the speaker vote, when we conceded that vote to him, he said we are going to have single issue spending bills and we haven't gotten it," O'Handley said.
