President Trump says send abortion back to the states. To that, Priests for Life Director Frank Pavone says we will abolish abortion, as we did slavery. "With what he [Trump] is doing, I compared it to what our Founders did vis-à-vis slavery, when they were trying to get the Constitution ratified. They could not get away at that point with putting into the Constitution a strong and explicit ban on slavery," Pavone said. "They wouldn't have gotten the country started. It would not have gotten ratified. Here's what they did instead. They put in place the mechanism, our Constitution, which eventually proved to be the tool by which slavery was indeed abolished."
