Pompeo Meets Australia Foreign Minister and Defense Ministers
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs Marisa Payne, along with U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper and Australian Defense Minister Linda Reynolds are holding talks in Sydney, Sunday, August 4.
The talks form part of the annual Australia-United States ministerial meetings.
Talks are expected to focus on growing tensions with Iran, China’s expanding influence in the Pacific region and the potential deployment of intermediate-range conventional missiles in Asia. (AP)
