Pole-Wielding Men Attack Hong Kong Protesters

As protests in Hong Kong rage on, a fight broke out between protesters and a mob of pole-wielding men, Monday, August 5. The men swung and threw poles at the demonstrators who had gathered as part of a citywide pro-democracy strike. The protesters responded by throwing traffic cones at the mob. The sides were separated by a road lane divider. Police arrested six as a result of the attack.
