Plane Carrying Released Prisoners Lands in Kyiv
Planes carrying prisoners freed by Russia and Ukraine have landed in the countries’ capitals, in an exchange that could be a significant step toward improving relations between Moscow and Kyiv.
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy was on the tarmac at the Ukrainian capital’s airport to greet the men as they exited the plane. The men were then hugged and kissed by their waiting loved ones as they were reunited on the tarmac, some in tears.
