Philadelphia Man Scales Down 19-Floor Building to Escape Fire

A man scaled down the exterior of a 19-floor apartment building in Philadelphia to escape a fire Thursday night, and he made it down safely.
Heavy smoke filled the hallways, prompting an evacuation.
Four residents and three police officers were injured by smoke inhalation and heat exhaustion.
The fire started as a trash fire on the first floor and traveled up the trash chute of the building.(ABC)
