Outgoing British Prime Minister Theresa May Leaves 10 Downing Street
Britain’s outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May on Wednesday, July 24, gave her final farewell outside Number 10 Downing Street.
Giving thanks to her colleagues, public servants and the British people as well as her husband, Phillip, May thanked the country for the opportunity to serve in the national interest.
Boris Johnson, who won a contest to replace her as Conservative leader, becomes the next prime minister.
