1. $200 million DHS ad campaign – A large advertising campaign featuring Noem was launched without Trump's knowledge.
2. Concerns about leadership at DHS – Questions about how the department handled the situation in Minneapolis, which reportedly required Tom Homan to step in and stabilize the situation.
3. Allegations of an affair – Reports of an alleged affair that had circulated and been raised with Noem, which she dismissed as “tabloid garbage.”
