NASA Astronauts in Space Celebrate the Holidays with Smoked Salmon and Fruitcake

NASA astronauts aboard the International Space Station reminisced, Tuesday, December 17, about their favorite traditions as they spend the holiday season away from family and friends.

Expedition 61 Commander Luca Parmitano of the European Space Agency and NASA Flight Engineers Christina Koch, Jessica Meir and Drew Morgan donned their festive hats and grabbed on to gravity-defying red stockings that they planned to stuff with specially packaged treats, including smoked salmon and fruitcake.
