Maduro Visits Russia Seeking Reassurance, Support
Venezuela’s embattled leader Nicolas Maduro traveled to Russia this week and has left with no major accords signed or announcements made. But observers say the visit had a very clear aim: to get a visible show of support from the Kremlin in the face of international demands for Maduro’s departure.
