Lauren Boebert Announces News About Kevin McCarthy's Future
U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO-03) says she had her reasons for voting no on vacating Kevin McCarthy's House Speaker seat. Nevertheless, she says what happened today was the right vote. "Time and time again, we have seen legislation come to the floor that the majority of Republicans do not support, but that may all be over with now," Boebert said. "There is a GOP conference meeting happening right now where Kevin McCarthy just told our conference he does not plan to run for speaker again."
