Joe diGenova, former US attorney for Washington DC, says President Trump will be convicted in his New York criminal case because there’s no chance he’ll get an impartial jury and fair trial: “If the President is convicted and [Judge] Merchan sentences him to prison, the Secret Service and the state of New York are going to present us with the greatest civil conflict of federalism we have ever seen because the President never leaves their sight.”
