Jimmy Kimmel Not Feeling the Love from X Trolls After Ranting at Aaron Rodgers Who Accused Him of Being on the “Epstein List.”
New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (who doesn’t like Jimmy Kimmel for some reason – but it could be because of this) was on “The Pat McAfee” show on Tuesday and said about the Epstein list that was scheduled to be released, “There’s a lot of people including Jimmy Kimmel who’s really hoping that doesn’t come out…I’ll tell you what, if that list comes out, I definitely will be popping some sort of bottle.”
Kimmel shot back at Rodgers on his X media account, “Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality. Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court.”
The commenters on Kimmel’s “hey Aasshole” post weren’t piling on the sympathy for poor little Jimmy seeing as how he’s had some questionable behavior in his past and has lied about people on numerous occasions.
The X account “Mostly Peaceful Memes” re-tweeted an old article headlined “Jimmy Kimmel convinced Trump pee tape exists ‘beyond a treasonable doubt’” to remind Kimmel and everyone else about the comedian’s own clearly-phony nonsense.
Another account holder named Liz Crokin says, “Hey Jimmy – Why did you have Tom Hanks do a skit on your show sexualizing little girls where he called a child a ‘sexy baby’ and you had her sing ‘Talk Dirty To Me.’ Do you think it’s cool or funny to sexualize children?”
Another person posted Kimmel in blackface.
And then there are posts reminding everyone about when Kimmel said that unvaccinated
Americans who’ve taken ivermectin should be denied ICU beds and left to die.
For those and many other reasons, trolls on X were not having any of Kimmel’s self-pity.
Most on X were enjoying Kimmel being someone else’s target for a change.
Video content developer Damon Imani has it right with his advice to Kimmel saying, “‘Your reckless words put my family in danger’…Lol you use your show to demonize half of the country \ people you don’t agree with. Now someone does it to you and you play the victim. Take this as a learning lesson, reflect.”
