It’s Time To Talk Truth

There is no room for rationalizing or equivocating. When animals attack innocents, slaughter young people at a music festival, and kill elderly holocaust survivors in their homes, there can be no quarter.

Terrorists under any banner must be eradicated at all costs. Threats from Iran, North Korea, or anyone else must be met with American strength.

On that note, I urge Republicans to get on the same page and unify behind a Speaker of the House so at least someone around here can project “American strength here at home and around the world.” God knows that is never going to be the fading Joe Biden.

Eyewitness accounts are finally coming out, describing in grim detail what happened on October 7, when stone-cold killers from Hamas confronted unarmed and unsuspecting citizens.

In one home, Israeli workers found the bodies of a family, hands bound, in their kitchen. It appears that the two children, approximately six and seven years old, had their eyes gouged out and fingers cut off while the parents were forced to watch.

And here is the American insanity I have witnessed my entire life. We act like we are on the side of democracy, freedom, and human rights, but America is often on all sides of a war. We supply money and munitions to everyone. This, by the way, is exactly what Eisenhower was warning us about. The military-industrial complex doesn’t care about who is at war as long as somebody is—and the more wars, the better because there is a lot of money to be made.
 
Right now, the cash train is running to both sides as well—just like it has so many times before.

Even after the outbreak of hostilities, the US is sending $100 million to Gaza and the West Bank with no guarantee that it will not be appropriated by Hamas.
 
It’s time to take an accounting of where we are, and it’s time to take an accounting of where we are going.

We need to get our house in order moving forward. And there’s a lot of work to do.
