Insulting and Absurd Questions
Heritage Foundation Senior Legal Fellow Hans von Spakovsky said today's arguments at the U.S. Supreme Court lasted three hours...roughly three times as long as cases usually last. "That example from Justice Kagan, those examples were so outrageous, so extremist and totally don't match reality," von Spakovsky said. "The idea that any president would attempt a coup is just absurd. They [some justices] also asked what if the president orders Seal Team 6 to assassinate a rival? That is insulting to our honorable military. They would never obey an unlawful order like that."
