Indian Cricket Fans Burn Posters in Reaction to World Cup Loss
Angry fans burned posters of the Indian national cricket team after it failed to score a spot in the final of the cricket World Cup, losing to New Zealand by 18 runs, Wednesday, July 10. A poster of Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni also was burned as fans chanted slogans against the team. New Zealand will player either the hosting English cricket team or the defending champion Australia in the final on Sunday.
