House passes sweeping $1.1 trillion budget
Party leaders pushed a massive $1.1 trillion spending bill through the House, shunning the turmoil of recent budget clashes with a compromise measure that’s brimming with victories and setbacks for both parties. The measure passed 359-67. (AP)
