Hippo Takes Stroll Through South African Town
A hippopotamus took a stroll through the town of St. Lucia on South Africa’s east coast, Sunday, February 23. The hippo likely wandered from the St. Lucia Wetlands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular spot for hippo-watching.
Local resident Marié Stubbe filmed the hippo’s stroll and said that hippos often walk through the town while seeking food at night. (AFP)
