A short but intense storm left parts of Barcelona and other towns in northeastern Spain under floodwater, Saturday, July 27.
Catalonia’s regional government weather service said 42 centimeters of rain fell in just half an hour.
The Diagonal Avenue was one of the worst affected roads in Barcelona with water reaching knee-high levels. (AP)
