Gov. DeSantis vows to shrink federal government and abolish administrative state

Republican presidential candidate Governor Ron DeSantis says he plans on downsizing the federal government by ordering Cabinet secretaries to reduce their agencies and spreading bureaucratic powers across the country. “At the end of the day, the Founding Fathers created three branches of government–legislative, executive, and judicial. They did not create a fourth branch of government. They did not create an administrative state that basically governs us without our consent,” says Gov. DeSantis.
