For the Veterans Community, Are Things Going Backwards?
Former Acting VA Secretary Peter O’Rourke says the Biden administration has turned around progress accomplished under former President Donald Trump for the veterans community. “We’ve seen this through internal red teams that have tried to figure out how to shut down [veterans’] access to care in the community. We’ve seen this with ridiculous bonus scandals where VA leadership is taking care of themselves first before anyone else,” he says.
