Floods in Mississippi Submerge Homes and Cars
Footage from Feb. 16-17 shows a flooded residential neighborhood and a river that went over its banks in Mississippi.
Weeks of heavy rain have inundated a large portion of the southern U.S., bringing near-record flooding to portions of Mississippi and Tennessee. The Pearl River, which meanders through residential and business areas near Jackson, Mississippi, went over its banks. Hundreds of residents watched as their homes flooded over the weekend. (AP)
