Fighting Continues in Northern Yemen
Fighting continued on Tuesday, July 9, between forces loyal to Yemen’s government and Houthi rebels in the northern province of Saada.
The Popular Resistance, which is loyal to Yemen’s government, attempted to take over the mountainous areas controlled by the Houthis along the Saudi-Yemeni border.
Saada is the Houthi’s main stronghold, and it has been targeted repeatedly by forces from a Saudi-led coalition. (AP)
