Criminal defense attorney David Gelman says Elon Musk's lawsuit against Media Matters does have merit. Musk says Media Matters interfered with contracts that X had with other companies, such as Apple, Comcast, and IBM. "They [Media Matters] planted a story in X and used their engineers to get this algorithm to do a certain thing," Gelman said. "Elon Musk had his engineers do it, and they could not duplicate it. This shows how sophisticated Media Matters went in their fraud and in their attempt to make X lose all of these advertisers."
