Former LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva says members of the city leadership and the California state leadership go out of their way to protect the homeless. Their ideology, Villanueva said, is that the unhoused are our neighbors. "They are not homeless. They are unhoused. So they change the language," Villanueva said. "But look at everything that is going on with them. Look at their approach. A housing first agenda at the state level, at the county level and a massive failure that they refuse to admit."
