Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants a raise on her $174,000 salary. The freshman congresswoman has only been in her position for a matter of months but is in favor of a bill that would raise her salary—and the salary of all members of Congress. The proposal is wildly out of touch with the majority of Americans who disapprove of the job Congress is doing.
