Despite proposed pension cuts, unions forced to back Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn
Illinois is facing a $100 billion pension shortfall, and in 2013, the state passed pension reform that was largely backed by Gov. Pat Quinn. The reform has angered labor unions across the state, but Quinn will get their support in 2014.
