Death and Taxes? Just Taxes – The Feds Are Paying Millions to the Dead

The U.S. government, in all its infinite wisdom, has managed to pull off another stunning feat of bureaucratic incompetence – shelling out Social Security payments to millions of dead people. That’s right, while hardworking Americans struggle to make ends meet, the feds have been cutting checks to folks who’ve long since moved to the afterlife.

According to a new report, there are millions more Social Security-eligible individuals than there are actual living Americans. Either we’ve got an epidemic of immortality the CDC forgot to mention, or Washington’s record-keeping is about as useful as a dial-up modem.

Elon Musk who heads up the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) posted Social Security data on Monday showing not just a few – but tens of millions of recipients for Social Security beyond the total population of the country.

Many of these folks are over 100 years of age. In fact, there are millions over the age of 120. I think it’s safe to say they are NOT still alive – but they’re still getting paid.

The Social Security Administration still functions like it’s using Windows 95 (and maybe it is). Because of this (and it’s probably on purpose), dead people aren’t just slipping through the cracks – they’re getting direct deposits.

But here’s the real kicker Does anyone in Washington actually care about our taxpayer dollars are going to dead people? Not until now with Trump in the Oval Office. And this is just one department.

We all know billions are vanishing into the black hole of waste, fraud, and abuse all over the place. And the past few weeks have made it painfully obvious that Democrats couldn’t care less. Why? Because they’re the ones engineering the waste, fraud, and abuse to pad their own pockets – and/or to keep their donors and cronies happy.

So while Social Security faces an inevitable financial collapse, the next generation is wondering if they’ll ever see a dime of what they paid in if dead people are collecting a lot of the money. Social Security? More like Social Insecurity.
