Cristiano Ronaldo Visits School in Support of Singapore Olympic Foundation

Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo met the students of Yumin Primary School and Chongzheng Primary School, Thursday, July 4, in support of a Singapore Olympic Foundation-Peter Lim Scholarship event.
Speaking at a school assembly, Ronaldo told the students stories of his path from humble beginnings to a top professional soccer player and gave them advice for the future. “Just believe in your dreams, focus, because everything is possible” Ronaldo added.
Peter Lim, a Singaporean business tycoon, provides a scholarship that aims to help aspiring young athletes achieve their goals in sports excellence as well as providing financial support to young athletes from financially challenged backgrounds.
Currently playing for Juventus as a forward, Ronaldo is also the team captain for the Portugal national soccer team. (Reuters)
