Combatting a Misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment
U.S. Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX-36) says Congress must take action to end birth tourism, the practice where children born to foreign nationals are automatically granted U.S. citizenship. “We have to do something about this. Birthright citizenship is nothing but a powerful incentive for illegal immigration. It has been wrongly accepted as law,” says Rep. Babin.
