Argentina Opens Field Hospital for Coronavirus Patients

CORONAVIRUS:

Authorities in Argentina have set up a field hospital inside Tecnopolis Park to take in patients with mild COVID-19 symptoms if necessary, Friday, April 17.

The field hospital, which has almost 2,500 beds, will receive COVID-19 patients from the hospital who are very close to being sent home to free up beds for urgent care patients.

There will be one doctor for every 150 patients in the makeshift hospital and if any of the patients worsen they would be sent back to hospital.

The park normally hosts museum exhibits, life-size dinosaur replicas and other public attractions.
