RNC General Counsel Michael Whatley addresses whether the Republican National Committee will continue to host presidential primary debates while former President Donald Trump maintains a strong lead in the polls. “Look, if the vote were today then President Trump is the winner—and that vote is coming up very, very soon. But you also want to make sure you have an opportunity for everybody to be able to get their message out and be heard by the Republican voters,” says Whatley.
