Another Powerful Quake Rocks California
A powerful magnitude 7.1 earthquake hit Southern California, Friday, July 5, a day after the strongest quake in the region in 25 years.
A series of strong aftershocks have jolted the high desert region since a 6.4 quake, Thursday, July 4. Only a few injuries were reported. Thursday’s quake during America’s Independence Day celebrations was the largest in Southern California since the 1994 magnitude 6.6 Northridge earthquake, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
