A Successful Impeachment Trial of Joe Biden in the U.S. Senate?
U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL-01) tells Steve Bannon that too many moderate Republicans will only vote to impeach Joe Biden if they see Biden benefitting from money sent directly to him. "I believe a bribe can exist in the absence of a direct payment to a person but instead to a family member. And that is not something I have pulled out of thin air," Gaetz said. "If you look at the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, there's literally sections of federal law that deal with the illegality of paying people's family members in order to influence them in foreign positions of government."
